Thanks Crystal!

My sister Crystal got a new camera and came down a few months ago to take some pictures of the boys for me. During her super busy work and school schedule, she worked on them and I got them back yesterday. She did a great job. Now there are just too many cute ones to decide from! The last picture cracked me up. This totally shows their personalities. Carson is teasing and Wyatt is screaming! Good times!

Soccer

Soccer has now begun! This is Carson's first season and he is doing great. Today was his second game and he scored a goal! I almost jumped up and started cheering! It was an awesome moment for him and a proud mommy moment for me. Pictures will be coming soon!

Two Weeks!

It is officially two weeks from today and we will be in Cancun. I am so excited and nervous. Probably mostly nervous. I got my passport a week and a half ago and Ryan's came yesterday. I was starting to wonder if Ryan has something in his past that would keep him from leaving the country. He told his fellow officers at the prison that he would smuggle himself into Mexico if he had to. He also talked about swimming the Rio Grande. :)

Just a little info on how crazy I am. I spent three hours preparing a list for my mom and Emily (my cousin) who will have the boys while we are away with everything they would need to know like: where we are staying, insurance info, info to and about the daycare, soccer schedule and location, emergency contacts, our travel information, information about Carson's preschool, the boys routine, how I tuck the boys in at night, things they can do while I am away, what they like to eat, and I think that's about it. Do you think there is anything else they would need to know? Am I completely crazy? (Don't answer that...)

I also make my packing list and my list of things that I need to do before I leave. Just thinking about it is giving me a head ache and an ulcer! I am going to miss my Carson and Wy Wy so much! I hope they will still want me when I get back. Maybe if I bribe them by bringing them back some chicklets.

Boating

Last week, we got invited to go boating with my uncle and his family. We were out almost all day. It was a little cool, but the water was like glass!

Wyatt just wanted to get in the water. The cold didn't bother him at all.

Me and Carson rockin' the tube. Carson would have been happy to pulled around the lake the entire time.

We had a great day boating! Can't wait to go again!

Stewart Falls

Last week we went up Provo Canyon and hiked to Stewart Falls. It was a really beautiful hike up near Sundance.

The Falls are really pretty. Here are a couple of random people in my picture....

And here we are! Carson was not a happy boy because a) he fell on the rocky part right before we got to the falls b) the water too cold to swim in and c) we wanted to get a cute picture of our family. It was fun, but I learned a few lessons from this hike that I must write down so I don't forget next time.

1. Do not hike in flip flops--especially the cheap $1 ones you get at Old Navy

2. Take water and snacks to keep the boys happy

3. Do not hike at nap time

4. It is an all day event, by the time you drive up there, hike (with kids), and get back. Also, you have to pay to get up there, so you might want to make it worth your $6 and go see other things up the canyon as well.

Shirts

Last week, the boys were playing outside one morning. Ryan was washing the car and I was washing windows. I ran inside for a minute and when I came back out, the boys had their shirts off.
Then I saw why they had their shirts off. The men doing the concrete next door had their shirts off. My boys were very intrigued with these workers and watched them the entire time--with their shirts off. :)

(I wonder what these workers thought when they saw me taking pictures of them. HA HA!!)

Proctor

Someone recently laughed at me when she found out what my last name is. It made me first mad, then sad. There are a lot of doozie last names out there, and I actually like our last name and grateful for inlaws that love and accept me as one of their own.

Anyway, it got me thinking.

I looked it up on Wikipedia.

Proctor: Someone who administers a test or supervises an exam.

I live with three Proctor Boys who do just that. TEST ME!

Talk about an aha moment! :)
