Halloween Party!

We had my mom's annual Halloween party.  It was so fun to get together and see all the kids in their cute costumes.  I just realized I was the only adult in this picture.  Awesome!  :) 

We went as the Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood, and The Big Bad Wolf.

 Easton did not like being dressed up and Carson was mad he didn't get to choose his costume (which I did give him a choice weeks ago when I started planning for this party). 

 Painting pumpkins was one of our favorites.  I can't even think about throwing them away yet.  I put Easton's hand and foot prints on his pumkin.

 Ryan helped Wyatt, or rather, did it for him. 

Carson did a super good job! 

Happy Birthday Carson!

I truly can't believe this boy is 7!  It sounds so big!  Here he is taking the birthday box to school.  He had to fill it with things to tell about himself.  He is growing into such a responsible, good boy.  Oh, and his hoodie came, so he was able to wear it to school instead of the bra!  :)

I received a text today from a friend who works at the school.  She told me that Carson was playing with a girl at recess.  She said the little girl was even wearing heels!  Of course I had to find out what this was all about.  Here is my conversation with Carson.

Who were you playing with at recess?
Brooklyn, my girlfriend. 
Does she know she's your girlfriend?
Ya, she fell in love with me first!  But nobody else knows.  She says I am even handsomer than Trey.  T-R-E-Y.  I call her Brooky.  She broke up with Trey yesterday because he wanted to play basketball and she wanted to play on the playground.

Because she keeps hugging me at recess.

OH BOY!  I guess I better get this kid in more sports so he has no time for girls!

Spooky Date Night

Our friends invited us to go to a haunted house with them last night. I haven't been probably since middle school and was very nervous to go. I hate being scared and don't even like to watch scary movies. My throat hurts today from screaming. Our friends and Ryan were just laughing at me. The spooks would get up in my face and try to get me away from the group. Whoever in our group was the closest, I would try to grab and try to use them as a shield. Our friend, Danny had bruises on his arm from where I grabbed onto him. He is a pretty big, tough guy too. I am really glad the people in the haunted house couldn't touch me or otherwise I would have really freaked out.

I went to Payson last week and hand picked raspberries. Now I know why they are so expensive at the store. It is hard work. I only had an hour and a half, but was able to pick 5 pounds. I made 2 batches of raspberry jam and have a few frozen berries left over for other yumminess like fresh raspberry shakes or the traditional raspberry pretzel salad I'm always asked to take for Thanksgiving or Christmas! Thanks Michelle for keeping me company and helping me keep an eye on my kiddos!

Making me pwetty!

The boys love brushing my hair. I haven't let them in a long time since the last time it took Ryan 30 minutes to untangle a brush from my hair. I really thought we would have to cut it/shave my head. Today, I decided to give them another shot. It was quite relaxing except for Easton smacking me in the face with the brush. I love my little boys!

Ya, they really don't have a lot in common, but I didn't know what else to title this random post.
I've been trying a new hairstyle out on Easton. What do you think?

I call it "The Bentley", but Ryan doesn't really care for it. I'm not sure if it's the name he doesn't like or the style.

Carson and Wyatt have been getting along so much better lately. They have also been learning some new tricks. They remind me of when we would ride bikes as kids.
Ryan painted our front door for me. The sun had totally faded it. Anyway, some over spray got inside (the door was open). We tried to match the paint, but to no avail. Now I have a lime green accent wall. It has taken me a month, but now I think I like it. :)
