More Mexico Pictures!

Preschool & Honey's

Carson started preschool earlier this month. He really likes it and is so excited that he gets to go with our neighbor Sami. Carson was planning to marry Sami until just a few days ago... An infomercial for some exercise thing came on TV and Carson saw some women in spandex showing their tight abs. He then said to me that he wants one of them to be his Honey instead of Sami next door. What a little man!

Wyatt's Prayer

Wyatt is getting so good at saying his prayers and last night was especially cute. I had to write it down so I wouldn't forget.

Me: Heavenly Father

Wyatt:
Danks day.
Bess me seep dood.
No mons come in my shoom. (No monsters come in his room.)
Dada shot dun. (He always talks about shot guns when he worries about monsters.)
Bess me be nice Na Na. (Carson)
Now what?

Me: Please bless Grandma and Papa.

Wyatt:
Bess damma be happy.
Bess papa be happy.
Amen.

Yesterday, when I picked them up from day care, he ran up and gave a kiss on the cheek to this other little boy. The teacher explained to me that that is Hanks, Wyatt's best friend and they play really well together. Awe! He just melts my heart! It amazes me how sweet and innocent kids are and how easy it is for them to show they care. I need to be better at that. :)

Mexico!

We had a nice relaxing vacation in Mexico. We stayed on the Riviera Maya near Playa Del Carmen (south of Cancun) at an all-inclusive resort. Here are some things we did... Cooling off in the pool. Ryan loved this pink floaty. :)
Shooting bows. I was surprised at actually how fun this is.

Soaking up the Mexican culture. I am so shiny because you pretty much sweat your guts out the entire time.
We tried out scuba diving. That was pretty cool!

We rode a catamaran out to the coral reef and went snorkeling. We got to hold a bunch of starfish that reminded me of spiders. Then we went up in a spinnaker, which made me feel like I was attached to a huge kite. Ryan jumped off from pretty high and has the bruises to show for it. It was very fun!

We did a little kayaking in the ocean.

And just enjoying the beach. It was beautiful!
Every night we would go to fancy dinners. My favorites were the steak house and the Tepanyaki.
We had a great time and would definitely go again! Mi mucho gusto Mexico!

Election Time

As you have probably seen, signs are everywhere and the primary election is almost here. One of the candidates for mayor here in SS is Super Dale. If you live in Utah, you know who he is.(Heaven help us if he gets elected.) Anyway, Ryan and I have been frequently discussing the election and Carson must have overheard.

As we were leaving church yesterday he said, "Mom, who do you think I am going to vote for, Super Dale or Hulk?"
I responded, "Hulk?"
He then said, "Yup."
