Wyatt getting buried in the sand by Ryan. It actually freaked me out due to my fears of being buried alive and feeling claustrophobic, but I held it together. He seemed to enjoy it...
I think Easton ate a lot of sand that day. He freaked out when I tried to shower him off at the beach shower. A lot of peeps walking by looked at me like I was the meanest mom ever. Have I ever mentioned I LOVE Easton's red hair?!? It shows up so much in the sun.
Carson was off with his cousins searching for shells. I think he brought home two buckets full of mostly broken shells. :)
The beach and sun totally wore them out. We got back to the hotel and went swimming.

I totally forgot my camera, but we entertained the restaurant by trying to get some pictures of us all together (all 23 of us--10 adults, 13 kids & the oldest is 10) in the banquet area. I'll have to steal from my sister's blogs when they post them.
Our last breakfast. I think Wyatt was done posing for me. We stayed at the Residence Inn on Hotel Circle. It was great. The breakfast was good and weeknights they serve dinner.

They had this Sesame Street theme area with a huge play area and rides.
The shows didn't disappoint and ever since, Carson and Wyatt have been jumping around my house pretending they are bottle-nosed dolphins.
This is outside my favorite part, the Atlantis ride. Wyatt and I were waiting and watching these Manta Rays.

These were fake polar bear caves. They had sounds of bears and you can kind of see the frightened look on Carson's face. They really thought there was a bear in there.
Carson got soaked on the River Rapids ride. He rode it with me then went right again with Ryan.

We left Tuesday night and drove to St. George. We stayed with my grandparents and it was a good little visit. They commented on how the boys had been "couped up" for a few hours since they started jumping off their couches and wrestling as soon as we got there. I thought they would be a little shy since they don't get to see their great-grandparents too frequently, but that wasn't the case. And Grandma is pretty good at making everyone feel right at home.
The rest of the day was spent driving and driving and driving. The boys did great!
Oh and if you couldn't tell, I'm not following the recommendation of keeping Easton in backward facing car seat until age 2. I'm not good at all at letting my babies cry.
They were so excited to get to California and see their cousins. Oh, and how easy they have it to travel. When I was a kid, we were all packed in the cruiser, probably almost dragging the back bumper from worn out shocks, and of course, threats that Dad was going to turn the car around and go home. Maybe that's why we sisters are such good friends now.
We stopped in Victorville for gas at Costco. The most we paid was $4.07 a gallon. It's crazy to think it would be cheaper to fill up the car with milk. We were in line behind this "Thunderturd".

Carson got off this boat ride and threw up. He wasn't feeling well after one of the roller coasters. I'm just glad it wasn't the flu. After that, he felt much better and was able to enjoy the park.
Carson and Wyatt loved posing with all of the Lego statues.
Wyatt's favorite part was the rides he could ride. Carson's favorite was the boats that he could drive.
