Ryan and I got up at 3:45, got ready and headed to AF hospital by 5:00 so I could be prepped for surgery. They put the monitors on me and either the baby was really high or had turned again and was breech. During the c-section, he was definitely just high. Both doctors had their fists pushed down as hard as they could into my liver, kidneys, and other mildly important organs. :) I thought my head was going to pop off, and I was going to pass out. Finally, they got our little baby out and we heard that comforting cry.

We had the names narrowed down to Easton, Jackson, and Daxton. When we saw him and held him for the first time, we just felt Easton was his name. Quintin is Ryan's middle name after his maternal grandfather. He looks much different from the other boys. Not as much hair and it is lighter in color. I think he looks like Ryan. I was very surprised he was so small. I had a ton of fluid and was soaked down to my feet according to the nurse.

The boys are coming home from being with their grandparents today. I can't wait to see them and have missed them like crazy! They only were at the hospital for about 30 minutes. They loved holding their new baby.

We had a lot of visitors in the hospital. It was so great to have such wonderful family and friends come see us. We came home Friday and Ryan, Crystal and Connor came by.

It was so fun to go through our pregnancies together and finally see these two sweet little boys together for the first time, born only 13 days apart.
I am so thankful to have Easton home. I just can't believe how much I love him already.

Carson's Preschool Graduation

Monday morning was busy! After the baby was born, Carson had his preschool graduation. I had Ryan go and record it for me. Carson did such a great job and is such a cutie! I really wish I could freeze time right now.

Here is Carson and Briley. I've heard about her all year. :) Carson and Teacher Carrie. He loved going to school and always looked forward to going. He is reading so well and loves to learn. He is a very smart boy, and I am so proud of him.

Way to go Carson! I'm so sorry I missed your graduation. You looked so handsome and did a wonderful job! I love you!!!

Last Day at Kid Stop

Yesterday was the boys last day at Kid Stop. It is the daycare next to my work that they have been going to for the past year and a half. They have been counting down the days they had left, but I really think they will miss their friends and the wonderful teachers.

Anyway, they are having a graduation on Wednesday, but since Carson won't be there, they sent him home with his stuff. I love his hat and the poster they made him. On the back it says,

I want to be a police man when I grow up. My favorite colors are green and blue. Pizza is my favorite food. When I'm at preschool I love to play outside.
Officer Proctor now sleeps under his bed to keep him safe from monsters. :)

They took really great care of my kids and if it wasn't for the $$, Wyatt and the baby would probably be going back. It just seems crazy to me to have to work more in order to pay for day care. I hope something will work out, but for now I am just going to enjoy my maternity leave and worry about it later.

This past week or so...

I guess I will start with today and work my way back.

Wyatt and Carson went to bed complaining of a stomachache. I laid out the sheets and hoped not to be up with sick kids all night. Surprisingly, it was a good night. This morning Carson was feeling fine. I went in to check on Wyatt about 9:30 and he was sick. He threw up a little Sprite he drank a couple of times, but then his appetite returned and he is back to normal. Thank goodness! I worried it was from this weekend...more about that to come.

Our ward split on Sunday. Our bishop told me he needed to talk to me and would come and find me. I was thinking in Primary that he was going to tell me he was going to release me, but it sounds like I'll be in there a bit longer. It really is great. I love Primary. I'm not looking forward to the chaos with getting all new teachers and leaders called, but grateful that he thinks I am doing a good job and wants to keep me around. Unfortunately, I lost one counselor, who I will miss tons, but hope things will go well with a new counselor.

Thursday night we got an order to boil all drinking water due to campylobacterium in our water in the northern part of SS. I read that it can cause miscarriage, still born, and problems after the baby is born. I was so worried and still am a bit, but very thankful that we didn't get sick. (That's what I was worried why Wyatt could have been sick today). It was a blessing we weren't home drinking our contaminated water, but at work instead. I am sure I drove my coworkers and doctors crazy with all of my questions and worries. Sorry about that. :) Our water smells like a swimming pool due to all of the chlorine and you have to lather up with lotion after showering, but yeah for clean water. I really hope to never experience it again, but at least I had water in storage and have learned what to do if it does happen again.

Wednesday, I got to go meet our new nephew, Conner. Congratulations to Ryan and Crystal. He is a cutie! I hope you aren't mad I put a couple of pictures on here, he is just so darn cute I couldn't help it. :)

I am on the schedule first thing Monday morning for my c-section. I am full of emotions, but so excited to meet our new baby boy. We still haven't decided on his name, but hopefully one name will stand out and we will just know once we see him. The boys are so excited and have been playing babies with their stuffed animals ever since I showed them pictures of Crystal's baby. I am really going to miss feeling him kick and move around in there, but I can't wait to hold him in my arms! Wow! I can't believe baby day is almost here!

Mother's Day!

I had a great Mother's Day thanks to my wonderful boys. Ryan got the front yard looking awesome. I'm praying these plants won't die! There are more up by the house, but I didn't take a very good picture.

He made these at preschool. It's pretty exciting I only weigh 20 pounds especially the way I feel right now! He did a fantastic job!

Wyatt melted my heart every time he told me, "Happy Mudder's Day, Mom!"

I am so grateful to be a mom. I love these boys so much, and I hope I can be the mom they deserve. I am grateful for a wonderful mom who is a great example to me. She is the best! I am also grateful for a mother-in-law who is so caring and has accepted me from the day she met me.

Race for the Cure 2010

My mother loves traditions and one of those is doing the Race for the Cure. I believe the first year we did it was 2007, so Saturday would have been our 4th time? We do it to honor my grandma who had breast cancer around age 40 and a couple of weeks ago celebrated her 80th birthday. Pretty awesome! My mom and Teresa also decided to join a friends team this year and became one of Becky's Buds. I wonder if Teresa ever figured out who Becky is. :)We missed Crystal this year who decided to skip the race since she is having her baby tomorrow. We can't wait to meet Baby Avery! Mom and Teresa ran the 5K. Michelle and I waddled the 1 mile. We crossed the finish line about the same time as Teresa and she even had a collision with a stroller and was dripping in blood at the end. What a power woman to keep going!

This picture was totally NOT planned. Teresa was posing for me when this guy walked behind her. The result....freakin' awesome picture!! It is quite entertaining to see what people wear at this race.

Afterward, we went to Mim's (yes, not Mimi's according to Mother) for brunch. My sweet mom and sisters surprised me with gifts for our baby. I really started tearing up. I couldn't believe they did that for me. They gave him some cute clothes, a car seat canopy, diapers, and a couple of blankets. They really made me feel special and made a great day. I love spending time with my best friends. Thank you for everything! I love you girls!!

Guess what I did?

The other day, while in the garage, a mouse ran in and almost right on my feet. I screamed like the girl I am, which brought all my neighbors over to see what the matter was. They worried I was in labor or something. I told them it was Ryan screaming, but they didn't believe me. They helped Ryan find the mouse and killed it. My neighbors just laughed and said it reminded them of last year when the birds were swooping at my head every time I would go outside. I am so grateful for such great neighbors who put up with me and my screaming. :)

Yesterday, I went outside and saw another mouse right by the basketball hoop. It was probably trying not to blow away in the freezing SS wind. I picked up some rocks, threw them at the disgusting critter, and VICTORY! Yes, I killed a mouse and I didn't even scream. Ryan took care of the corpse for me when he got home. Now I know why I am being blessed with all these boys to protect me and rid our home of pests. Sorry no pics. I really don't want to remember what they look like.

It's FINALLY May!!

I had a chance to get some pictures of the baby this week. It is kind of tough to do 4D on myself, but these turned out pretty good for being 35.5 weeks. It also helps that I have gallons of water in there too. This is his leg up in front of his face.

A couple of pictures from straight on. I really like this picture. I can't believe his chubby cheeks already. He is estimating about 6.5 lbs. I bet he will be my biggest baby yet. Wyatt was 7.2 lbs and Carson was 7.8 lbs. I won't be surprised if he is over 8 lbs.

I am scheduled for a c-section on May 24th. Only 23 days to go! I can't wait to hold him and see him in real life. We just love him already! I've kind of forgotten what I need to get and do before he comes. I did buy some diapers, wipes, baby wash, and lotion today. I need to wash clothes and set up the bassinet. Is there anything else I should get ready?
