Randomness

I took this picture a few weeks ago, but I absolutely love it.  It really shows the boys personalities! :)

 Carson had his first grade program.  The songs were so cute and he did great on his speaking part.  It was crazy hair day, if you were wondering about a couple of the girls.... :)

 My handsome Carson lost one of his front teeth...before

 and after!  It was the tooth we had to put a crown on when he was 18 months old.  He is glad it is gone because it has been hurting to eat.  I hope the tooth fairy makes a lot of money off of that tooth--crowns are expensive! 

 I am loving that my flowers are in bloom.  I LOVE phlox, tulips, and my lilac bush has blossoms on it this year! 

 And I found this picture in my camera.  Cutest little feet ever!

What else have we been up to?  We are painting at our house.  I really HOPE I LOVE the color we picked out.  I hate picking out paint.  And just working.  I had two really good friends stop by my work today.  One brought me a smoothie.  It was so sweet and what a nice surprise to see them both.  Oh, and soccer has begun.  Wyatt made 3 goals in his first game and assisted in one goal.  He got it right up to the goal, then tripped, knocking down another player and his teammate kicked it in.  Carson got one goal and is probably the strongest player on his team.  It is so fun watching them and we are excited for the season!

Easter & April So Far...

April has been a pretty good month so far.  We started it out by going up on conference Sunday for an Easter Egg hunt at my mom & dad's.  This is Easton with his cousin, Preston.

 The next week was Ryan's 33rd Birthday and Easter.  Ryan's parents watched the boys and we went out to Tucano's for dinner and watched the Hunger Games.  After, we went for dessert--a carmel apple at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.  It was a fantastic date night and I LOVE spending time with my best friend.  I WISH I had remembered to take some pictures.  We went to the Gateway and decided that crowd is much different than what we are use to, but we still had a great time.  Oh, on kind of a funny note, this girl next to me was talking (in her normal volume voice) in Spanish to the guy next to her, especially at the end of the movie.  I kept shhh-ing her and seriously wanted to knock her out.  Did she realize I didn't pay for a translation AND I have been looking forward to this movie for a VERY LONG TIME!!  I think Redbox is my kind of movie night.  ;)

 The boys LOVED dying Easter eggs and hunting for their baskets and more eggs.  They got some cute new summer clothes and sandals.

 Last week was Spring Break, so Monday we went to Tracy Aviary with some friends, then met Teresa and her kids at Trafalga in the afternoon.  It was a fun filled day and wore the boys right out!

 We didn't do anything else too exciting and I feel so bad about it!  Tuesday and Wednesday we hung out and got some things done around the house, then I went to work for the last part of the week.  Oh, we have ALL been battling pink eye.  (That's also why we haven't done too much.)  We MUST get rid of those germs ASAP!  Man, Friday and Saturday we sure looked like a sight for sore eyes!  :)

After MUCH of Ryan begging, I agreed to cut Easton's hair.  I miss the longer do, but he does look cute with his spikey hair and looks all grown up like the 2 year old he ALMOST is!
