Funny Boys

Carson
Yesterday I had to take Carson to the doctor, so I picked him up on my lunch break from work, ran him to the doctor, then he got to hang out with me at work until I got finished.  It was so fun to have one on one time with him.  He is a really funny boy.  I can tell he is trying so hard to be good, and he is growing up so fast.  I was cracking up at him.  Here are a couple of things I remember, so I must write them down.

"I don't really like to sing at school because when it goes high, I have to use my girl voice."

He had to pee in a cup at the doctor and didn't want me in there to help him, so I just stood outside the door and let him do his thing.  We got back to the exam room and he says...

"Man, I had to go a lot!  She should have given me a bigger cup!  I filled that all the way to the top."

Wyatt
We went on a bike ride and he rode up to me and says, "Hey Sexy!"  I asked him where he learned that word and he said he didn't learn that word.  ???
He always comes up to me and gives me hugs and tells me how pretty I am or how much he loves me.  He is a sweetie pie for sure.  (He also tells me at times he hates moms, but we will just keep things positive. :) )  He is reading really well and his deep belly laugh is my favorite sound in the world.

Easton
Easton is loving Ryan lately.  He squeals when Ryan gets home and runs as fast as he can to his daddy.  I love their interactions.  Ryan rocks him every night and then they read stories and Ryan sings to him.  He is learning new words everyday it seems.  He LOVES the phone right now and freaks out when we won't let him have it.  He throws everything and has a strong arm.  He seems to like going to the babysitter, and hasn't cried once since I have been dropping him off.  I definitely don't want to leave him upset, but I would like to know he wants me around sometimes.  :)

Snowmen

Yes, tomorrow is the first day of Spring, but we finally got enough snow to build some snowmen!  Wyatt wanted the one in the middle to have a conehead???  What weird Utah weather!

It's back to work I go...

I have been back to work for the last month.  It has definitely been an adjustment and I miss my boys.  I am working Thursday, Friday, and Saturday mornings.  I am still taking call on Tuesday nights at the hospital as well.  The boys really seem to like their new babysitter, which is great.  My days off go by so quickly that it's hard to get everything done! 

SKI DAY!!

Tuesday, we took Carson and Wyatt skiing for the first time.  They did awesome and picked it up so quickly!  The snow was slushy, especially toward the end of the day, but it was good because it was easier for the boys to go slow.  People would stop and watch them and we got a lot of questions about how old they are--especially Wyatt.  I think we will definitely be going again--next year!  Let's hope for a decent winter!                                                                  
I couldn't believe how tiny Wyatt's skis were!  They were more like snow shoes.  :)

 Carson had one fall where he hit his ski next to his eye.  He had a little shiner for a few hours.  He thinks he wants to snowboard...  Skiers are much cooler though.  :)

 They had this conveyor belt that took them up a mini bunny hill that made it great for learning.  Wolf Mountain is a great place for beginners!

 It was only Ryan's second time skiing (as an adult).  He made a good instructor, probably because he had such a great instructor (me)!  :)  He did really good, never fell, but did the splits.  I really wish I would have gotten a picture!

We had coupons for free food, so Saturday night we did the drive-thru thing all over Lehi.  

It cracks me up, but you can't beat free!

Happy 5th Birthday Wyatt!!

We had a few fun days of celebrating Wyatt's Birthday!  Sunday, Ryan's parents came over for dinner.

 Monday morning, was Wyatt's magic birthday--turning 5 on the 5th of March and he was also born on a Monday.  He wanted Cream of Wheat and deviled eggs for breakfast.  Funny Boy!  Although, since we really only do hard boiled eggs around Easter, they did taste pretty yummy. 

 He got new clothes to wear to preschool...

 And then he had a Star Wars Birthday party with his friends and cousins. 

 We had levels and I was so busy entertaining that I failed to take very many pictures.  Level 1 was Ray Gun Training and they shot pictures of the bad characters from Star Wars with Nerf guns.  Level 2 was Fitness Exercise and they played a musical chairs type of game.  Level 3 was Light Saber Training. Level 4 was Endurance and they fought Darth Vader.

 Level 5 was Nourishment and they had pizza, Yoda sodas, and cupcakes.  Then he got to open presents. 

 Level 6, they battled the Death Star. 

 It was crazy, but I think they had fun and Wyatt LOVED it!  Now I look at this picture, it doesn't LOOK like that many kids, but it sure FELT like a lot more!!  :)

That night, my parents and Grandma (no pics--must do better next year) came by for dinner.  They gave him a scooter.  We gave him more clothes, Lady and the Tramp, and a DS game. 

Today, I took Wyatt for his 5 year old check up.  Here are his stats:
Weight:  35 lbs (11%)
Height:  39" (1.8%)

I was kind of hoping he could be evaluated for growth hormones.  Don't get me wrong, he is adorable and I love him the way he is, but I think especially being a boy that getting as tall as he can would be a good thing.  Since he is still following the growth curve, we are going to wait and check again next year and also because I was a slow grower too.  I did tell the doctor that I finally just put away the 3T clothes because he finally fits in 4T!  He just laughed.  He freaked with the shots and wouldn't move his arms for a couple of hours, but I think he has recovered!  Happy Birthday Buddy!  We LOVE you!!
