10 months holy moly!

Easton at 10 months:

Grinds his teeth a lot.

Gets into everything.

Favorite babysitter is Grandma Joan.

Loves to eat mac & cheese and pretty much anything he can feed himself.

Loves to play play play!

Eats paper, puzzles, and books.

A good little crawler--here one minute gone the next!

Has 6 teeth (4 on top, 2 on bottom).

Weighs 20 1/2 lbs -ish.

Does not like being left alone.

Bites me to get my attention.

Still a mommy's boy and laughs/cries when I get back home. I think it's his way of letting me know he is happy I'm home but mad I left.

Doesn't love going places and would much rather stay home.

Growls, says dada, gaga, baba and copying sometimes.

Loves dropping things and hearing us say Uh Oh!

A cool little dude that is a lot of fun!

He had a renal ultrasound to check his kidney. He still has a moderate amount of hydronephrosis, but the doctor can see some improvement, so we won't have to follow it any more. He said that it can take several months for the kidney to drain with how severe his was. The kidney is closer to normal size, which is good.

Whoa baby! You're growing up so fast! We love you Baby E!

School Bus Blues

Carson came home very grumpy today. Here is what I finally got out of him.

Me: Did you get a treat from your bus driver today? (She gives treats on Fridays to the kids who have been good.)
Carson: No.
Why not?
Cause I got in trouble.
What happened?
Some girls were teasing me.
What did you do them?
I hit them on the head with my take home book.
What were they teasing you about?
That I look like a girl and have purple eyes!
(Oh My!)
Carson: I am NEVER riding the bus again! And I'm never going back to school until first grade!
Why? What did the bus driver do?
She told me I have to sit by Phillip so she can see me.
What's wrong with Phillip?
HE EATS PAPER!!!
(Holding back a snicker.)

So, he's got a case of the blues. We'll see if I can talk him into going back by Monday. :)

Silly Boys

So I was totally dreading Monday this week because Carson didn't have school, and I was sure it would be a day of fighting. Fortunately, the boys slept in until 9:00! I had a busy night of call so the sleep was very needed. The boys were helping and being kind to one another all morning. They had dentist appointments and did awesome. No tears and no cavities. So, I let them get a prize from Wally World.

I LOVE good days!

Easton looks like such an angel. Even though I have holes in my shirts and bruises on my arms and face from him biting me. Seriously!

Leprechaun Day!

We have had a good St. Patrick's Day. It started out taking Wyatt in for a tubal extraction and myringoplasty. It sounds worse than it was. They had to take out his tube and patch the hole in the ear drum. He was so so brave and everyone thought he was so cute and so good! I asked him if he cried and he said almost because when they put the mask on, he couldn't breathe.

We also had a from some leprechauns come to our house that played some tricks and left some "gold" coins.

Carson did not want to wear green today because he wanted to get pinched. He came home with a shamrock drawn on his hand. He told me his teacher drew it for him since he wasn't wearing green. She must think I am such a loser mom!

We had green food for dinner and made sugar cookies. Ryan dropped several hints that he wanted corn beef and cabbage for dinner. He made it right after I had Wyatt, and I was still sick or maybe it made me sick, but needless to say, just the thought of it to this day makes me gag and I refused to make it for dinner. Sorry, Ry! Thanks for being a good sport!

On the Move!

It's official! Easton is crawling. If you ask Ryan, it was Tuesday night. But I was at work so that doesn't count. So he started crawling on Wednesday.

Happy Birthday Wyatt!!!

Happy Birthday Wyatt! (Aka: Wy Wy, Tex, Squirt, Cowboy, Super Wy) We had a super fun day on Saturday. I made cowboy pancakes (it's supposed to be a hat and boot) for breakfast. We went to the movie Tangled. It was so cute! Then we had lunch at Wendy's. We came home and I made pizza for dinner, opened presents, and had cake and ice cream.
Wyatt kept changing his mind, but eventually decided on a cowboy cake. I think he was most excited about eating cake than anything else!
(Easton is battling an ear infection. Poor little guy!) Grandma Joan, Papa Alan, and the Avery's came that night to help us celebrate. Grandma and Grandpa gave Wy these cool chaps, footy pjs (because he wanted some like Easton), and the Big Brother shirt. We gave him some clothes, Leapster games, and Moon Dough.

Here he is yelling Yee Haw after blowing out his candles! He is such a funny boy!

Here are things I want to remember about Wyatt at age 4:
His favorite food is mac & cheese and pizza.
He favorite restaurant is Wendy's.
His best friend is Easton.
He is getting to be such a good helper.
He is really good at boxing and bowling on the Wii.
He is very artistic. His coloring and hand writing is awesome!
His favorite TV show is Tom & Jerry (probably because he is like the mouse and Carson is like the cat).
He still sleeps in the most random positions. My favorite is when he sleeps in a ball on his tummy with his bum in the air.
He has the cutest singing voice.
His favorite thing to do is play cowboys.
He is still a little guy. He is about 3 feet tall and 30 pounds. I don't even think he is on the growth charts any more.
He is funny and usually really happy, but he will stand up for himself.
His favorite toy is his horse. He trots around the house then gets bucked off!
I love his dimples and his hugs. He will NOT kiss anyone if they have make up on.
