Easton--3 months

Easton is growing and changing so fast! I just love kissing his cheeks and melt every time he grins. I love the way he sleeps, so I had to throw that one in.
He coo's more and more.
He loves being talked to and getting attention.
He loves to snuggle when he is sleeping but likes to be held out and look around when he is awake.

His chin still quivers. It is precious!
He does not like being startled or his brothers being loud around him.
He kicks his legs and moves his arms when he is excited.
He prefers me, and I am totally okay with that. :)
He naps best in the mornings.
He could care less for the binkie and prefers the human pacifier (that's probably why he prefers me!)
Looks like he is going to be my blue-eyed boy!
I'm worried he will grow out of his 3-6 month clothes soon--he better slow down a little!
We sure love our Baby Easton!

Wyatt

Wyatt told me the other day that Heavenly Father and Jesus come in his room at night to tell him they love him and remind him to be a good boy. I hope he always be so sweet!

Carson Starts Kindergarten!

Since I uploaded the pictures in the wrong order... here is Carson's first day of school in reverse. He told me when he got home, "Mom, I love school!" I hope he always does.

Here he is getting home. I drove up to the school to make sure he got on the right bus. He started to cry when he saw me. I thought it was because he missed me so much. Broke my little heart. But oh boy, was I wrong! He was crying because he thought he had to ride home with me instead of the bus! They get to school early, so they play on the playground for a bit then line up in front of their classroom doors. His favorite thing of the day? Recess! Looking all grown up. And quite studly, I might add. I'm so glad he is excited, but a little sad he couldn't wait to leave me. Right after I took this picture, I started crying my eyes out. I hurried to the car and put on my sunglasses. I can't believe how fast my first baby boy is growing up. I then stalked the bus and followed him to school. I called Ryan on the way, cried to him, and started saying crazy things like we need to have more kids since they are all growing up and leaving me. I got to the school to make sure he found where he was supposed to go and watched him until it was time for him to go inside. Then I called my mom and cried some more.

I was planning on taking him to school today. He woke up at 7:00 and the first thing he did was wake me up to tell me that he wanted to ride the bus. I tried bribing him with money and snow cones, but he still wanted to ride the bus. I told him he had to make his bed if he was going to ride the bus. I've never seen him run to his room immediately and make it as fast as he could. He wanted to go wait at the bus stop about an hour before the bus would get there. Talk about excited! I'm so glad he had a great first day and grateful for my Carson!

(I'm really happy for him, just sad he is growing up and I'm getting old. And it's a good little break for us all. :) )

Soccer

Carson made his first goal this season at his first game. He is a good little player and it's a lot of fun watching him. Keep it up, Buddy!!

It's back to work I go....

I went back to work last week. I have been training at the hospital and filling in at the ob/gyn clinic. I ended up working 4 days last week, and I am still exhausted! My plan is to work prn (as needed) at both places and hopefully get enough shifts to make ends meet, but be home with the boys as much as I can. I will be on call Monday and Wednesday nights, so if you find yourself at AFH in the ER from 1-7 needing an US, you might just see me. Ah--CALL--can I do that again?!?Speaking of boys...they are everywhere I look!
And I love it!

I missed them like crazy!

Carson is getting excited to start school. He has been struggling lately. We have been struggling with his behavior lately. I feel like a failure as a mom right now with him. I now feel so bad for all the tears I caused my mom growing up.

Wyatt fell asleep on the potty Friday afternoon. I wish I would have taken a picture. If I could freeze Wyatt at this age, I totally would. I love the way he talks and the love he shows us.

Easton is becoming a very good baby. I took him in last week for his 2 month visit.

He is in the 31% for length,

72% for weight, and

6% for head circumference.

He is smiling more and sometimes giggles in his dreams as he is falling asleep.

He has a rash and I can't figure out what is causing it. I have taken him off his medication, changed laundry detergent, baby wash, and lotion. I am going to stop using dryer sheets. Any other rash causing things I should try?

UH OH!

Guess what I did? I woke up my daddy this morning...

when I peed on him while mommy was changing me. It was so funny!!!

Easton's Baby Blessing

August 1, 2010 Easton was such a good baby. I think he knew it was his special day.

Wyatt thinks the belt on Easton's blessing outfit is a karate belt (or as he says it tahtee bult) and wants a belt just like it.
He had a really sweet blessing. I felt the Spirit so strong. I feel so blessed to have our sweet Easton as well as Carson and Wyatt. I just love my boys & hubby too!We went to the park afterward for lunch.Thank you to our wonderful families for their love and support!What a wonderful day and a special reason to celebrate!

Oh the rains came down...

Imagine our delight when we found out that a new elementary school will be our back neighbor! Yes, they tore down the old nasty mink sheds and have been excavating the field behind us. I hope they smooshed a lot of mice/voles in the process!
However, this Saturday a BIG storm hit. Check out those clouds. And the floods came up.

And a river was flowing between our house and the neighbor's. We must be a low point in the neighborhood because we got hit the worst. Their basement flooded, but thank goodness, ours was spared.

Our bishop is a water rights attorney and came by to check on us. He told me to inform the city and school district of this obvious drainage problem. I've called and left messages. They are supposed to call me back. I'm sure they will soon realize that I don't have anything else on my to do list this week. :)
